Type Design Project: Ebony Rose
For this project, were asked to conceptualize and design a typeface and ads to market it. I decided to create a typeface that I would personally use. It started as a Steampunk inspired serif font, however it later morphed into an art deco inspired design.
This is sketches I did of the typeface to get an idea of what I wanted to do with it. I was unsure which characters I would need for the ads so I sketched out the ones I thought were necessary.
